Happy 2016, friends!!
I am so looking forward to this brand new year! It is, in many ways a time of new beginning for me and my family! I hope that this year is a year of new beginnings for you as well!
But as we kickstart the new, it’s always so refreshing to look back at the past, and see where we’ve come from, so that we can grow learn, and mature more and more with each new day, each new year that passes by. And that’s what today’s post is all about! We’re looking back at YOUR top 10 all-time favorites of all time (plus, for a bonus, my all-time fave )….have you tried any of these yet? If so, I’d love to hear about it!!
An Oreo-lovers dream come true!! These soft-baked chocolatey babies would definitely make my top 10 favorite list too! Check out the post for super-simple ways to make them gluten free as well!
Sink your teeth into one of these super-soft, salty/sweet & chocolatey cookies, and (gasp!) you may never want to eat a peanut butter cookie, ever again!!
I am SO excited this veggie & protein-packed chili made it on your top 10 favorite list! This flavorful slow-cooker turkey chili is a forever favorite food of mine also! I’m in Uganda right now, adopting my sweet son, but if I were at home–we’d be having this for dinner TONIGHT!
Mmmm….your favorite winter drink, complete with mini marshmallows…in cookie bar form! Got extra powdered hot cocoa mix from holiday gifts and celebrations? Use it right in the cookie batter!
Want healthy, protein-packed fuel for your day…but with all the thickness and deliciousness of a chocolaty, minty milkshake? You’ve come to the right place!!
This classic family favorite of mine, has become one of yours too! Bursting at the seams with delicious Mexican flavors, this healthy slow-cooker soup is easy on the cook (comes together so easily!), and is the perfect way to warm up on a cold winter night!
No flour. No refined sugar. No dough chilling. Just 7 simple, wholesome ingredients…mixed together to make the most delicious sweet treat you can feel good about serving to the entire family!
It’s no surprise that these light and moist coconut flour muffins are on your top 10 list…They’re so easy to make, and so vibrant with that yummy, comfort-food, banana bread flavor! A family favorite (even if you don’t eat paleo!).
Do you LOVE Red Robin? But maybe not the price to eat out all the time? Whip up this super-simple seasoning blend, mix it into your burger meat or shower generously over your homemade potato wedges before tossing them into the oven or onto the grill! You’ll feel so much better (your wallet and waistline will too!) about enjoying that yummy signature Red Robin flavor when you can enjoy it right at home! You will ALWAYS find this stuff in my pantry, and on my family’s dinner at least once a week! Yum!
And…drumroll, please…YOUR TOP FAVORITE RECIPE OF ALL TIME on Sunny Side Ups:
This flavorful paleo bread has been the top-viewed recipe on Sunny Side Ups ever since it was posted…and for good reason! It’s so incredibly easy to whip up, so light and moist, and it’s bursting at the seams with yummy spices! Sometimes I make it using Nutmeg Essential Oil, and sometimes I make it with ground nutmeg from my spice rack; the choice is yours!
And…oh my lanta, it was such a challenge to choose just ONE personal top favorite! I wish I could list 10 of my favorites too! But, after narrowing it down, giving honorable mentions to these paleo muffins I could seriously live off of, this incredible granola, and this egg salad which is enjoyed on a weekly basis, I finally name Dark Chocolate Espresso Cookies my personal favorite recipe creation of all time (at least, up until this point 😉 ). These soft-baked cookies hold within them the two flavors I dream about most: dark chocolate and coffee. I make them gluten free when I’m baking for myself, but they can be made with regular all-purpose flour too with the same results, if gluten is not a concern for you! Y.U.M!!!
And there you have it! Your favorites recipes and mine, all together at last! Have you tried any of these? Or are you eyeing one (or more!) that you’d like to give a whirl? Let me know! I’d love to hear about it!!
