A tasty homemade ranch seasoning made with simple ingredients from your spice rack; a healthy way to make meals at home pop with that yummy ranch flavor!
  • 3 Tablespoons Dried Parsley
  • 3 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 3 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 3 teaspoons Dried Onion Flakes
  • 2 teaspoons Dill Weed
  • 2 teaspoons Chives
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Basil
  • *Optional - see notes for a Spicy Ranch Seasoning
  1. Place all dried spices in a medium bowl, and whisk to combine.
  2. Alternatively, you could place all dried spices in a ziplock sandwich bag, seal the bag, and shake well to combine.
  3. Store seasoning in a small jar, spice container, or ziplock bag; tightly sealed, at room temperature for up to 1 year.
  4. Yields about ½ cup Ranch Seasoning.
*For a Spicy Ranch Seasoning variety, add ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper, ½ teaspoon Paprika, and ½ teaspoon ground red pepper (or more or less to taste) to the above recipe, and combine as directed.

**This Homemade Ranch Seasoning does not contain powdered milk, which you’ll find in the Hidden Valley Ranch mixes at the store. If you’d like to make this recipe a little more identical to that, simply add ⅓ cup powdered milk/powdered buttermilk as you’re mixing everything together.
